It is a fully recycled product manufactured from combustion modified foam trim, the crumb foam being bonded together. Lay it between your geotextile layer and the artificial grass for the best results. If you are after a high grade shockpad, please give us a call as we have other options that are best suited to children’s play grounds or for sports use.
For a thicker, more premium option of foam artificial grass underlay, the 10mm performance pad we offer is perfect. This cushioning pad layer lies underneath your artificial grass to provide a padding that means you can lie down on the grass in pure comfort. Made from recycled material, we make the most of other products to provide a comfortable solution for your garden. Just be careful that your pets don’t get too comfortable on it!

How to measure your garden effectively
Before you place your order with us, you need to measure the area you are covering. This will ensure that you are getting enough artificial grass for your space. Here are some pointers:
Measuring the area is fairly easy if you have a square or rectangular lawn as you can easily measure two sides to obtain the square metres.
If you have an irregular shaped lawn draw the shape of your site to scale on a grid, like this:
Once you have your measurements, you can work out how much grass you need to order. Keep in mind that you can choose from two-metre- or four-metre-width rolls and that you want to aim to have as few joins as possible.
